  3. Preparation: You'll be given privacy to undress down to your underwear to your comfort level and lie down on the massage table.  You will be appropriately draped with towels or sheets throughout the session to maintain your privacy.

  4. Communication: Communication is crucial. If the pressure is too intense or not firm enough, let me know. Your comfort is a priority, and adjustments can be made based on your feedback.

  5. Techniques Used: Sports massage involves a variety of techniques, including effleurage (long, sweeping strokes), petrissage (kneading), friction, muscular energy techniques, and trigger point therapy. I will use may use my hands, fingers, forearms, elbows, or even specialized tools to address specific muscle groups and areas of tension.

  6. Focus on Specific Areas: Sports massage often targets specific muscle groups relevant to your physical activity or areas of concern.

  7. Stretching: Depending on your needs, I may incorporate passive or active stretching into the session to improve flexibility and range of motion.

  8. Post-Massage Care: After the massage, I will provide recommendations for self-care, such as stretching exercises or activities to avoid for a certain period. It's important to drink plenty of water after a sports massage to help flush out toxins released from the muscles during the massage.

  9. Soreness: It's common to experience some muscle soreness after a sports massage, especially if specific areas of tension were targeted. This soreness is usually temporary and should subside within a day or two.
